Piercings for Minors

General Information

• Minors must ALWAYS be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for piercing services.

• We do not accept walk-ins for minors; you must book an appointment online.

• We require ID for both the minor and the parent/legal guardian accompanying them. For younger minors, a birth certificate is generally the easiest form of ID. For older minors, we can accept passport, sheriff’s ID, learner’s permit, and/or driver’s license, as long as the last name and address matches the accompanying parent. If the last name and address do not match, we will require the birth certificate as well. Parents/legal guardians generally provide a driver’s license.

• Legal guardians will need to bring guardianship papers, if they are not the legal birth parent.

• We CANNOT perform any piercings without the appropriate ID.

Earlobes | Ages 7-13

We pierce children’s earlobes beginning at age 7.

Piercings are always performed with needles, not guns, and we only use implant-grade titanium for jewelry. We currently do not offer simultaneous piercings (i.e. two piercers doing both lobes at the same time).

We put the child’s comfort and bodily autonomy first. We will never force a child to go through with a piercing they don’t want to do.

Other Piercings | 14+

For most other piercings, we start at 14 years old, with a few exceptions: eyebrow, bridge, and tongue piercings begin at age 16. Surface anchors, surface bars, and nipple piercings are strictly 18+.
