Piercings for Minors

At Ithaca Piercing & Tattoo our biggest priority is giving kids an excellent experience from picking out jewelry to actually being pierced.

Piercing is an Event and a Process which involves many things including consent. If at any point during the piercing procedure the Piercee decides that they no longer want to do it, then that’s it, we are done for the day. Body Autonomy is important and we will not violate that under any circumstance.

Our requirements for these piercings are that they must at least be 7 years old.

Things you will need to bring with you to your appointment are:

* Government Issue Photo ID for the Parent/Guardian.
* Birth Certificate for the Piercee

*Guardianship papers must be provided if not legal birth parent

If you do not have these at the time of your appointment you will need to be rescheduled as we will be unable to perform the piercing without them.

If you are between the ages of 14 and 17, you must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and both child and guardian must provide photo identification which includes date of birth. If last names and addresses do not match you must provide a birth certificate. School IDs must be accompanied by a birth certificate.
